Carpet Stain Removal Tips

Carpet stains are unavoidable. You will have to accept the fact that you have to face the job of carpet stain removal. Carpet manufacturer always provides instructions on carpet stain removal. For some carpets, especially carpets that are made of natural fibers or particular dye type may need special treatment. If you do not know what to do, ask a help from cleaning professionals. Below are tips for carpet stain removal for most usual stains that can help get rid of that stain in no time. 

For beer, wine, cola and cola, pat as much of the satin as you can with a paper towel. Mix ¼ cup of white vinegar ¾ cup of water to neutralize the stain. Put the mixture right on the part of the stain then pat to eliminate the excess moisture. You can also use spray bottle when applying the mixture. If the stain has not yet taken out, apply a mixture of water and detergent on the stain. Repeat this process until the stain is removed. Rinse with water and pat the excess water out. 

When doing carpet stain removal process on stains like berries of fruit juice, remove the stain by using a knife. Sucking up the extra stain with wet vacuum will also work. Wet the stain with water if it gets dry. If this did not work, apply a small amount of soap dish and water mixture on the stain. Continue patting the stain until it is completely removed. Rinse the stained area by spraying water and then pat the extra water up. Apply hydrogen peroxide if the soap mixture did not work. Apply hydrogen peroxide onto the stain and leave for a couple of hours. 

To remove blood, catsup and vomit on carpet, use ammonia and water mixture. Apply the mixture by spraying the mixture onto the stain then pat with a white paper towel to remove the extra water. Always use cold solutions in removing blood stains. 

Carpet stain removal for candle wax is easier. Lay down a piece of brown paper over the stained area then run a warm iron gradually over it. Always be reminded that carpet manufacturers provide instructions on how to treat your carpets and they also provide directions for carpet stain removal.
